Fathamurk : Stuck in level 2

Post by Wortz »

How do I reach the third level ?

I've completed the entire level but I don't find any stairs leading to the third level. I reach a control panel that requires 8 candecium dusts and a bit farther, a dead end with 2 wooden Barrels and 3 torches on the walls. Obviously I've put the dusts on the control Panel but it doesn't seems to have any effect. The only remaining things in the level are a locked chest for wich I've only 1% chance to unlock and a heavy wooden door just near the sentinels.

What do I missed ?

Look around the room with 2 barrels containing torches. Not all the walls are solid.

The next part is easier with Cartography.

Yep. My favorite "puzzle" Thomas has built. :) Without cartography it's really like wandering around a sensory deprivation tank. :)

I also thought that puzzle was beyond cool. I was lucky when I got to that part that I was playing a character with high Cartography. If you don't have many points in that skill you could use Reveal Map to help you find your way around (pun intended).

hmm but it is hard to paint a map of an area you don't see the ways.

Well, thank you for your answers. I have now the possibility to reach the next part of the level. Unfortunaly, in this darkness, I don't find the lever linked with the door. I'm affraid I have to leveling to upgrade my cartography skills. How many points do you recommand (my cartography is at 5) ?

So i think you only have to find a way north and then there is a gate like that what you find but it is open in that room there is an lever which opens the gate at the right side in there is a lever too which opens the southern room hmm am i right? i don't remember clearly. about that with your cartograhpy skill i think a skill of 8 should be enough to paint these dark ways

Nah, it wasn't too hard. My first char I took through there didn't have enough Cartography to help, but a little pencil-and-paper work cleared things right up. :)

'So-called', eh? Tell us how the speech went.
Certainty: a character-driven, literary, turn-based mini-CRPG in which Vasek, legendary "Wandering Philosopher", seeks certainties in a cryptically insular, organic, critically layered city.
