Lava Slag locations?

Hi, this is my first post here. I'm playing Eschalon II on Mac OS X (and I want to say that I really enjoy this game, and as a Mac user and old-style RPG aficionado I really appreciate the Mac platform).

I am in Fathamurk and want to know how to locate all the lava slags. I met 4 in the Magma Flow Control room (they dropped a diamond, a diamond chip, and some candesium dust). I met another two in the first magma room, one of which dropped the diamond key. And I met three in the room past the water pump room (with the two chests at 76, 79 and 80), which dropped a large emerald and a large diamond. But from that room I can see through a gate another room with at least three slags in it, and I'd like to get them. The room must be somewhere between the first magma rooms and the magma room near the water pump, but I can't figure out how to get there, even if I walk on lava. Is this impossible, or does anyone know a way?

You need a pretty high elemental resistance to get the rest, as you have to walk out onto the lava and get their attention.

Thanks - managed to lure one out with Greater Protection on, and got a big diamond...will get the other two soon!
