On a Quest for Hammerlorne

(Ha, reminded of Moorcock and Blind Gaurdian, Tanelorne and all that...)

I'm having trouble with the beginning of the Crux of Fire Quest.
I killed Sparrow when I cleaned out the Goliaths (she attacked me!) and got her key.
I finished up the rest of the things I wanted to do and headed toward the secret guild location, they gave me the quest to enter Hammerlorne. I think I've explored most of the map, I even entered Fathamurk (and promptly died many times fighting the Golem, I'll get back to that a few levels later!)

The question is I can't seem to find Raven's Nest or whatever the town is called that listed in the quest description as the first step on the journey. What's the next step? I know I'm missing a small passage some place, but I didn't see anything it the 'links for the perplexed.'

BTW I'm a 15 level Rogue, piercing weapons, bows, small amount of divination, hide in shadows, low level lock picks.

It's Raven's Gate your looking for. Do you recall where the empty temple was that had a bunch of bandits looting the graveyard and stuff (west of Wolf forest)? Go west on the 'road' which turns north and then west about 2 map sections. That gets you to Raven's Gate. Go thru there and that gets you to Dwarven lands. Explore there and you'll find it sooner or later..that is if the snow doesn't kill you.

Thanks Dragonlady. I thought that part of the map went back to eastwillow...

anyway, the problem I have now is that I threw away 2 citizens writs that I had found in my wanderings- I just snuck into Port Kuuadad, and didn't think I'd need em again. Are there any more writs?

In case there aren't, how can I find my save games folder and reload a map to find one? I'm using OSX.

There are 3 Citizen's Writs. One is on a body guarded by wolves, one is in a home in Port Kuudad, and the last is in a home in Broken Blade to the west of where you killed Sparrow for the key.
