Requesting a modding guide
I want to create a mod with xolotl's savefile editor for Eschalon: Book II, but my ambition exceeds my skills. Eschalon is also infamous for having little to none information about it on the internet. So for that reason I am requesting that someone makes a helpful guide for people to use (for example: how to upload and download map files).

Re: Requesting a modding guide
Yes, his editor is not particularly user-friendly. Still, it exists, and it's full-featured enough for several people to have made mods. It's great that xolotl made it, even if it's really limited to advanced users.
Maybe one of the successful modders will spent the time to write up a guide, but if you're really interested in this stuff, I suggest you do it yourself. Spend the time to get familiar with the editor and how it works, then write up a guide that could help others. If you're feeling really ambitious, you could learn Python and work on rounding down some of the sharp edges.
