I'm still running the same system I built for myself in 2008 (with a couple of minor upgrades: new video card and more ram) and can run skyrim on medium graphics with acceptable framerates. I don't forsee me having any issues with eschalon ^_^.

Book 2 ran at 10s underground, mid 20s in lightly forested areas to 90s+ in forested areas on my laptop HP DV6-1245DX with Intel Integrated "Graphics" (insert Dr. Evil quote pic here), my current setup runs at 0............ no matter where I am at :D :D

If you want my laptop for testing let me know Basilisk, would be great for the low end computers.

Can you give us specs of your testing PC for a reference?

Intel integrated graphics is lucky it can display the windows desktop 9 times out of 10. It definitely can't game.

Yep, laptop was built in 2009 but I always had to shop for games from at MOST the 2004-2005 era, wouldn't play anything newer except VERY few titles and only if they had low graphics requirements, if it needed OpenGL though it refused to work right, Intel only supports/ed OpenGL 1.1 on the integrated chips and even then not all the functions. I think my laptop had 128MB dedicated video RAM then up to 1.7GB system RAM, not a good combo.

Definitely not. My first laptop was a Pentium 3 1 GHz (yeah, one of the recalled ones) that I bought used. Came with an 8 MB dedicated video card (ATI something or other).

I still swear to this day that laptop outperforms my current one in video performance. *shudders* I got stuck with having to get an el cheapo laptop a couple years ago cause the processor and lack of ram in the other laptop just couldn't handle modern internet browsing at dsl speeds. Needless to say it has Intel Integrated Graphics.

One of these years I'll replace it, but rebuilding my desktop from scratch is a little more important. Gotta have at least one good performance compy. She still does great as I said earlier, but I'd like to think I can replace her every 5 to 7 years ^_^.
