Congrats on the Mac release!

Post by Supernaut »

Good news folks! I'll grab the demo when I get home and, if it runs well on my Mac(s), I'll buy the download. I will admit with some guilt I already played a small amount of the Windows demo on my Thinkpad, curiosity was killing me......

Thanks,

JB

Congrats on a very polished game. This is much better than I expected and I have been watching these forums for a while. I bought my copy yesterday and spend last night wandering around exploring all the little touches and details that make this game such a breath of fresh air. What a start for Basilisk games, I am nearly sorry to say that I have found nothing wrong to post on your support page.
Thank you from a happy customer

It runs like a champ on our MacBook. Doesn't even impact the CPU(s) on our new iMac. Runs on my PowerBook but rather slowly. Smooth, but slowly.

Looks great, Basilisk - nice to be playing an RPG again!

Thanks,

JB

Just seconding this sentiment. Very happy to see the Mac release -- ordered my copy right away! :) And it's been playing great so far on my Intel MacBook under 10.5. So far, the fan hasn't even come on -- unlike some, ahem, *other* indie RPGs which absolutely thrash the CPU and turn my Mac into a lapwarmer.

Great job BW!

Adding another congats here. Been waiting on this one, and I must say, although I just grabbed it this morning, it looks like it's going to be an awesome time!

Running PERFECTLY on my 24" 2.8 iMac, 4GB ram. Only complaint is I'd like to see higher than 800x600 for full screen.

Keep up the great work, and let's get the word out on this one!

Congrats on a great game :) Purchased and Finished Book 1 on my Macbook and looking forward to the next book. Just hit one minor bug in Vela but found the solution fast enough in the forums. Great work! I wish more games would be written or ported for Mac

Thanks as well from another happy Mac gamer who misses Might and Magic and Bard's Tale. I've ordered the full game and look forward to Book II.
