Works perfectly

Post by uggwar »

The demo runs without a hitch on my Dell d820 running debian unstable. Custom 2.6.23.9 kernel, nvidia drivers 100.14.19.

Will play through the whole demo this weekend.

Thanks BW!

Yep, the game seems to be working absolutely great. It looks like the developers really spent some time on this Linux game. Way to go.

I agree. It works well on my computer (debian sid, kernel 2.6.22, nvidia drivers).
It's just the music which as some noises in it. Not a real issue, but it doesn't sound normal. (my sound card : Multimedia audio controller: nVidia Corporation MCP51 AC97 Audio Controller (rev a2))

farvardin, the chances are your mixer is faulty. Try to decrease PCM level there.

it wasn't like that (and yes, I've tested that too...). The sound bug disappeared with the second beta version released today.

I can only agree, the game (full version now) works great. Haven't had any problems so far, even though I have to admit that the game crashed once. But nothing serious. Sound, graphics, everything is fine. And the game is a lot of fun! Great job, Basilisk!
