Don't your screen and computer let you alter the gamma and/or brightness settings on their own?

There was a complaint on Book 1 that some computers couldn't be altered enough to work for dark areas.

One of our testers gave this example of a screenshot at "regular" brightness and at 100% brightness boosted. Even without a torch lit, you can clearly see how a very dark cave looks with the brightness boosted all the way. His comment was that he found the boosted brightness option very much to his liking.

The dungeon with the brightness boosted will have less contrasting difference between light and dark areas, thus changing the overall "spooky atmosphere" in my opinion. But, hopefully people who use dimly-lit screens will find Book II more enjoyable than Book I. Actually, I tend to run Book II at about 50% boosted brightness when I play on the Mac Book Pro.

Very cool. I think I'd probably keep mine at 50% or lower, because I really did like the wandering in the dark stuff. It really added to the interest and danger of underground areas to me. But for those who want to have it, that 100% brightness boost will be great.
