Awesome. I've always wanted an rpg editor! I've been planning on making an rpg with Battle for Wesnoth's game engine, but Eschalon (obviously) has a much more rpg-oriented engine, and an editor is much easier than all-out WML programming. I give this idea my full support and encouragement!
