BW, what program was the Eschalon World Map rendered in?

It looks gorgeous (you can see how gorgeous in the Book II trailer movie...), and I'm just wondering what kind of application can get graphics to look that good.

Photoshop. But, when I begin work on Book III's map details, I am going to move the whole project over to Illustrator.

Wow !! That map looks great... hopefully only some more days to get it...
