I am level 12 now and I am not going to restart the game because of one botched quest, but still... ARGH... The pain...
1) Put an Easter Egg in your inventory and save.
2) Backup your save game.
3) Find the record of the easter egg in your .char file.
4) Copy and paste the easter egg into another inventory slot.
5) Keep the backup save in case you borked something.
6) Stop selling / throwing away obviously unique items.
7) If none of this makes sense, you might not want to try it at all or at least be careful about steps 2 and 5.

In the mages' tower, lower floor. You'll know it when you see it, and you'll probably see it before you have collected all 3.

Thanks a lot, but I've found my "lost egg"! It was still in the original chest.

It could not be sold, actually (zero value).

Tiavals wrote:Once you put the eggs in the item, you get a free level. I was expecting something more spectacular, but oh well.
And compare it to fact, that you get all three of them about 20 minutes before end of game, where more levels would do actually nothing. I finished it on lev 20, because I explored everything and I don't se much point in getting 21st, as there probably won't be character transfer to book2...

I don't think you can sell easter eggs, they have no price.

El'Lorien: you can always just fight some random encounter mobs to make up the XP. A free level is cool and all, but it's nothing you can't get on your own.
eggs?!!!

One found in the village you started in. Next in the Tangletree Ossuary, the other near the Goblin citadel. If you need more of a hint just yell.

Blank quotes marked as spoilers are usually white text on a white background so you can only read them if you choose to, jongamez. Just highlight the panel and you'll see the characters.

It's inside the forest between the giants village and the citadel wall. You have to search around and find a door.]
