Many thanks!!!
It was the Stone Axe, not Stone Hammer :(

Smashing victory.... Great I went ahead and smashed the chest to pieces thinking I had beaten it!! Guess I got this riddle wrong :P impossible to open now that the chest is broken ?

Possibly not, since you can put/retrieve things to/from broken chests and barrels just like unbroken ones. Just pretend the chest isn't smashed .. it'll likely work anyway ..

Sorry for the bump, but I just finished the Ossuary, and since I didn't have what I needed to put in all 4 chests I left, bought them, and came back. Now I'm locked out both through the front door, where the entrance has been sealed, and through the Obuliette, where the gate is down. I guess I missed my chance to complete this?

Spoil me, what did I miss out on?

An Easter Egg, I'm afraid.

Hello,

I found the chests and read this thread, but now I'm wondering. I think, there must be a quest which deals with this emty chests, right? But I didn't find it till now. Where is it or where are the official hints in the game which leads to the written solution above?

Hallo,

@Ebi:

Over the chests, there are signs, witch give hints.

<german>
Über den Kisten sind Schilder, auf denen ein Hinweis steht.

I have to buy a new monitor.
This one was good, but is a little bit old now, .... and not bright enough. Although there's always gravediggers flame with me, I didn't noticed that signs.
:oops:

Thanks for the hint.

That's fine, that there are some german players meanwhile. The game ist worth it.
Would be interesting to read some more languages in the forum.

p.s. Schön, dass das Spiel in Deutschland auch Verbreitung findet. Hats verdient!

There are problems with other language sections in forums, Ebi: unless there is a moderator who can speak the languages concerned, those sections cannot be moderated, which means people could use them for posting inappropriate content.

In my opinion, sections in other languages than english don't make sense.
The game is only available in english and people who play this game understand english.
So there's no need for sections in foreign languages.

I pretty much finished the Ossuary as well, but I found no hint of anything that would seal the entrance. :?

Oh, I don't insist on other languages in this forum!
That was only a term, which means it would be glad to see players from many countrys here.

I'm conscious of the actual problem with judicial conditions in forums, so that there's needed a mod, who's able to understand every used language to control the content. That's a pity, but it's a fact also.

Now, let's give the thread back to people with problems in the ossuary. ;)

Any crypt or cemetary that I'm familiar with will have already been thoroughly looted. Where am I supposed to find some ash, other than reloading for the next few days? :)
