I was going by the "Rockhammer has been added to the Quick-Travel menu" message on the second screenshot.IJBall wrote:I'm not sure how you've been able to surmise that, as Quicktravel points aren't shown in any of the Book III screenshots.SpottedShroom wrote:Quick-travel seems to be the same as before. People suggested an overhaul, so probably either that didn't happen, or it's in addition to the old system.
I assumed they were decorative. If they're functional, I hope they get a little bit bigger in the final version or they'll be a pain to click on.IJBall wrote: However, I am intrigued by the little gold bars to the right and to the left of the Minimap. A few possibilities:
Interesting. That would be a pretty major departure in terms of Divine/Elemental spell roles. Thus far, the only "duplicate" spells in both schools have been the ones that do damage. Plus, pure caster types don't really need a light spell, because they can hold torches. Archers need a light spell the most, but they can just as easily pick up a couple of ranks in Elemental as in Divine.IJBall wrote: Maybe Guiding Light spell isn't a "replacement" for the Gravedigger's Flame spell, but is instead the Healer-equivalent spell to the Mage's Gravedigger's Flame spell.
Hm, I don't remember those. I'll have to wait until I get home to check it out.Painted Lady wrote: I think I know what it is. Do you remember that in the southeast corner of the Talushorn map there are a couple of "plate receivers" or some such thing outside the fortress? There is also one southwest of Sparrow's house. I always figured that they were communication devices from "The One" to his subjects. Anyway, I think your screen shot blow-up shows the same device. As Dragonlady would say "kewl."
