This would be a fun mod to make, either way:
In one of Zeblin's chests, you find the letter he received telling him to kill Darus, and you have to trace it back to it's origins. Then again, if he left the letter intact after the job was done, he's not really a very good assassin, is he?
Or he's a blackmailer as well as an assassin.

Or Zeblin only got paid part of his fee (upfront) and hires you to locate the person that hired him to collect the rest.

One time an Adamantine Longsword +4 popped for sale in Blackwater smithy. I think it was base damage 10. Not sure of the fine points of combat damage, but how does 10+4 compare to 11+3 (assuming alchemy). It wa also lighter which was nice. 10lbs vs 12 I think. Something like that. It also seemed like executioner, skullsplitter, etc were underpowered. The gear in book II was much better overall and more balanced. The named weapons were much better than alchemy could get you, and making +3 imbue so much higher in book II was a good balance I think.
The ambush was my favorite encounter of the first two games I think

Coming back to this question - does anyone think Book 3 gave any answers?

- [+] SPOILER
- Presumably Malkur or a minion of his. I don't think Book III really told us anything we couldn't have figured out in Book II.
