Won't work - BW has already said the first word is "The".

Occasionally? Apart from Fathamurk can you give us some examples of when you've updated your games with new content?Basilisk Games wrote:Also, we don’t believe pay-to-win, loot boxes or paid DLC of any kind, although we do occasionally update our games with new content, free of charge, as a thank you to our customers.

Well, in this case it is currently 33% of our games that have had a significant amount of free content added. That should count as "occasionally". We'll see how well the next game does before I promise a free add-on for it.Prismatic Maelstrom wrote: November 28th, 2017, 10:39 amOccasionally? My point to that update was: I will never put micro-transactions in our games. I would never hold back 25% of a game's content just to sell it as DLC. I think games that are unwinnable without purchasing elite equipment are horrible. I think it is important for game developers to clearly state these opinions.

I'm just doing this to annoy you but I don't think it does. Basilisk Games have been in business for ten years now and one update of free content in that time doesn't strike me as "occasionally".BasiliskWrangler wrote:Well, in this case it is currently 33% of our games that have had a significant amount of free content added. I've been thinking a lot about our "Core Fans" lately, like you PM. The new game is really taking shape, and boy-oh-boy, it is not Eschalon. I mean, I mentioned before that there is something inside that feels "Eschalon-ish" (maybe it's the core ruleset, or maybe just the way I make games) but you long-time fans are going to go through culture shock when you see it.

I may not love TRP. I probably wasn't going to love Zatmos. And honestly, my love for Eschalon is partly nostalgia at this point. But Eschalon was an important part of my gaming life when it came out, and that's enough for me to give you the benefit of the doubt and pick up whatever you release. And really, I buy most turn-based RPGs that run on Linux anyway :)

Ironically SpottedShroom, you are definitely one person that I am looking forward to getting feedback from. TRP has technical elements that I feel you might have strong opinions on.
You'll see what I mean.

i could see that.
getting feedback from your harshest critic and most loyal fan means a lot and shroom is both.
prob the biggest thing i learned here.
