Woohoo! Welcome to the forums from an other elder stateswoman. I'll be 65 this month (27th). Now there are 3 of us (elders that is!). Good, this place needs more people with wisdom!
So that makes me just a kid at 52 :?:
:D No, since I have a kid who's 39 I guess that makes you middle aged.

I'm the other 60 year old person here. :) And when I use this line I always add that my body averages out to my actual age. :D

My wife usually states that I rarely get past 12 most times.

I do like to have fun.

Strange . . . I'm 32 but my mental age, I think, is about 95 or so.

...except when I want to play. Then I'm 11.

Well... at post#2: now, I suppose, you are. :)

I remember my first job, at a grocery store, when customers would tell me I shouldn't look so glum and serious at my age. I couldn't understand why they thought I should be happy bagging groceries, but... I don't know. I suppose they sensed that the accumulation of days and experience was pulling me down more quickly than they do with most other 'normal' people . . . and that this was unhealthy.

By now, I sort of feel that I'm just lingering... .

You need to clarify. Is this our physical age or our mental age?

Physically, over 40...mentally...about 13...

You guys and gals make me feel young here, 26 and aging. But it's the spirit that matters, not physical age. What comes to gaming stuff, i've been 16 for ten years now. Or ten.

Not surprisingly, Eschalon seems to be mostly a game of 20 - 45 year olds thing.. Hmm, i wish there would be more younger people interested about old fashion RPG's. For some people it's just too hard to use their heads and play a games without graphical bling blings.

Ha, at least there's many mentally/spiritually teenagers here, not a boring day in this community. ;)

Well you've been sixteen for ten, I've been ten for twenty.

And hey... I like my bling bling. As a matter of fact, in Book II - er... nevermind!

That would be totally kick-ass, especially with real-time shadows. 8)

You're talking to someone who will go see a movie just for the special effects... of course, that's all most movies these days have going for them.

HRD, real time shadows and enormous shadowcount, everything casts shadows, 16x antialiasing.... Haha.

Ok, maybe this is enough offtopic, back to the agebusiness.
