While I think it would be nice to be both a nudist and a scholar, I find that I can get 30k experience points, or however much it is, by camping out in Old Harpoon Bay for a while. I just get up to grab an ice cream sandwich or something, and when I come back, there's about, oh, 3200 xp or so, just flying around.

Repeat process ten times, and you're out of ice cream. I think you level up at some point, too.
