I'm sure this has been posted somewhere, but...

I am getting a new machine (both old and new are PCs) - how do I go about copying my saved games from the old machine to the new? What are the paths of the files I need? Thanks!

blm14,

You will have to reinstall all of your games, no way around it. If not, and you copy them from another drive, or a backup disc, they will not be in the new operating system's registry and it will not recognize them when you try to open them.

What you do is look for your saved games, back them up. Then, when you reinstall your games, just plug the saved games back in to where you found them and they should pick up right where you left off.

Many games put the saved games in the My Documents folder so they are easy to find. However, some save the games within the game's directory folder. On a rare occasion, you may not be able to find the saved games as they may be called something else by the game producer, but that is, like I say, rare.

I realize I'll have to re-install the application... I was just wondering if anyone knew the path of the data files for the saved games so I could keep those.

Depending on what version you are playing, the saved game slots are either in your Documents folder or in the game's installation folder.

I'm kind of in the same boat as blm14, except I do not have the installation file on my previous computer. How can I re-download the game on my new machine?

Farwik, in Aridell, has the lever in the house behind a table. What for?

After you mentioned it, I tried smashing the chest and pulling it, iKlim. Doesn't seem to have changed anything in the village.

Magic Trainers?

OK, looking at magic.

There are trainers for many skills, but I can't find trainers for magic.

Are three magic trainers or books to pump-up skill points?

There are books to be found and trainers in Bordertown and Blackwater, Tecknomage. Finding the books may be dependent on your level.

While I'm not far into the game I've noticed that most of the quests are of the nice guy variety, so I was curious as to whether or not there are some quests for the less ethical adventurers?

There are a couple quest that are offered to you that are a bit dark, and you have the choice to not always play out the good quests in a good way.
