Thank God I'm in the largest group. 34 BTW.

It's so hard to image me in the retirement home. Sitting in my lounger chair, trackball mouse in hand (better for the rhumatism), clicking away in front of all those RPGs I didn't have time for. Way better than Lawrence Welk. It definately gives me something to look forward to.

I just hope my right arm doesn't turn black and fall off before that time. I click a damn mouse all day (CAD drafter).

Well, at least I'm considered an adult here, I knew all those years of growing would pay off eventually. heh heh

btw...I'm 44, but feel older due to already retired from US Army.

Wow...I can't believe I fit into the 40 Something group (41 heh)

It seems like just yesterday I was thinking the show 30 Something was for old people lol

But I am the youngest 41 year old I know, my wife likes to use a different word "immature" or some such nonsense lol

Yea I could of done that too, went in the AF right out of High School, but decided to just do my 4 and get out and do the College thing. Got a BS degree and now find myself working in a completely different field lol

It's an honor to be among the Undead geezers on this forum, who were probably adults as I was when they played Wizardry on their Apple ][+ for the very first time, or Might and Magic on their Apple ][c for the first time, (or maybe Fool's Errand on their Mac SE for the first time---did I mention Bard's Tale I, II, and III?), and are enjoying this flashback thanks to Eschalon and the folks at Basilisk.

I remember JCL to use an IBM370 and filling dorm rooms with "punch" cleaned out of the IBM card punch machines.

It's great to see that older people are on here, or should I say the Lich's Or maybe I shouldn't say old, rather older than me. I always kind of thought late 30's to early 40's was the limit for CRPG'ers.

Im in the middle I guess at 33, but I have loved RPG's since I was about 9. I think the one that got it all started that I can remember playing was Ultima III.

Anyway, there is a stigma that playing games is something you only do as as a kid and I have wondered if I will still love it when I get in my 50's and 60s, so hearing other's that do is way cool.

Retiring and having time to play all those RPG I can't play now sounds like heaven.

Finally!!! I have found a forum and a game where there are players older than me.Makes a change from ones solely populated by kids,but then again some of the games i have played have been played by Adults and they acted like kids.Im 42,soon to be 43 and aint looking forward to it.

What got me started on rpg's was a book not a game,i found a copy of the Hobbit back when i was around 11 or 12 and havent looked back,then i got my first computer an Atari 520 STFM and since then,well as they say the rest is History.

I was 33 when I discovered the original DND (1978). My dad sent me the blue cover set as a joke gift for Xmas. He knew I liked fantasy, sci-fi books to read and had started collecting dragons. Loved the stretching of my imagination, the creating new worlds and backgrounds for characters, etc. It's nice to be here where people know what I'm talking about when I mention something from the early games and also know who Monty Hall (haul) was.

Believe me, Dragonlady, I think about Monty Haul everytime I survive a major battle in Eschalon and walk away with 4 GPs or some willowsap!

Wrong again. Nope, just someone who pops in here everyday and helps out when she can, ie. answering questions and stuff. Basilisk is THE guy for everything. What a guy!
