it would be nice if i could overwrite my low-level improvements with higher-level improvements.
i.e. overwrite the +1 on my uber axe with +2, +3 or +4 as i get better with alchemy.

i was hoping i could find a +2 and then lay a +3 on it for a +5, but yeah it would be nice to be able to take a +1 and later inbue it to a +2 or +3.
