Sound problems on Mandriva 2008 - fixed

Just thought I would throw this out there in case anyone came across the same problem....
I originally had no sound (in Book 1 only) using Mandriva 2008. I'm pretty sure I have all the right sound files installed for ALSA, OpenAL etc.
Neither sound option in the Eschalon config was working either.
However, it all worked well if I set the sound to Default, and ran it like so:
I believe the soundwrapper script is something that Mandriva has made up to force it to play nice with the sound server.. but I could be wrong!
