Possible to obtain the great sword without killing Llith ?

First sorry for my english, I am French
I must tell this game really impressed me, it has been keeping me awake very late in the night since 2-3 days, it reminds me my best memories with old games like dungeon master, land of lore, fallout 1&2, planescape torment.
So please go on !! Maybe technically I would prefer to have more options like gamma adjuster or higher resolution (1280*1024) in book II and all the maps accessible (after discover and cartography of course) even if you are not in the right aera.

I just 'd like to know if there is a way to obtain the great sword (I love it !!!) without killing Lilith , I don't like to murder someone sic :/.
