Shady Character (Spoiler)

Hi there,

Maybe this was asked before, but I found something strange (maybe a bug) while playing this quest.

I told him that I was NOT going to kill Lilith (I currently have no reasons to do it, so I will not do it only because he offers so much gold.. I'm playing with my "good" warrior), and after killing him I get this message:

"A quest in your Quest Journal has been removed because it can no longer be finished. You may still be able to complete the game"

It's weird because I had 5 quests before talking to this guy, I had the same 5 quests while fighting him, and I have the same 5 quests after killing him and getting that message.

Sounds like a bug, and if you have not it documented, feel free to ask about my quests or my items or how I advanced in the game.

By the way, I read a bit here about people killing Lilith and getting an item or something... I saved my game with a "lilith alive" quote, so I may try what happens when I finish the game.

Or maybe I will play the game again with an evil character (rogue probably), and just kill her for the gold. A shiny coin is more valuable than a human life

The "removed" quest is one you would have received had you taken his mission to kill Lillith, so its more of an idiosyncracy than a bug.

Well, the only that makes sense to me is that thing about "a quest I would have received". But I didn't, so wasn't either on my quest journal.

The notice is confusing as it says that a quest has been removed from MY quest journal, something that did not happen really. And second, in case BG considers I should be informed that nothing happens for not taking that quest, I should be noticed in the moment I am hostile to that char, and with something like: "You didn't take the quest but you may still be able to finish the game". And if we are going to take it in a role mood, it could be something like "You ask yourself ir your doing the right thing, but something inside you tells you that all is going to be OK".

Just my two cents :)
