Where are those mercenaries William is woried about?

As the topic says, where are the mercenaries William, Councillor of Blackwater, is talking about? I wasn't paying close enough attention when he said where they are supposed to be, and now he doesn't give any clues (and there are non recorded in the quest journal).

I've travelled fairly extensively east and south of Blackwater to no avail.

But be careful not to kill them before getting the quest, or you will never solve it. At least that's what happened to me, I think I dropped the letter after reading it.

Thank god for multiple saves. :)

Just make sure you don't drop the letter. You don't need to have the quest to actually complete it - you can kill them first (I did), but you have to deliver the letter to William.
