Hi there,
(If you are starting the game be warned that this post may contain spoilers)
Well, I yesterday began to feel that frustration that makes you to not want to open the game. And it's because I walked on all possible maps, but the doors to Crakamir are still closed. I don't see a lever or anything like that around.
I think I've completed all the quests possible in the northern part of the land. Secondary quests, I only see the one about the tree (the Oasis is on the other side of the walls as I see on the map), and also a note that gives me a PIN for a chest on the Citadel.
As for the main quest, I got the ones asking me to take the crux to the bastion, recover the 4 goblin keys, and take a goblin key from a giant. That's all I have. I already got 3 keys from dungeons and from that mage himself, so the last one must be taken from the giants, on the other side of the wall aswell, as I see.
So basically, I'm stuck here. What triggers the walls open? A hint shuld be enough so I can continue. Also, feel free to ask any question about my finished tasks and places visited, in case I missed something.
Oh by the way, the only thing I didn't do is kill Lilith. I killed the Shady Character instead. It makes me think if it could change something, but as I got the message telling me "you can finish the game", I think everything should be OK...
Thanks!

When you say "doors to Crakamir", you mean the goblin citadel (rectangular diamond thing that spans multiple maps)?
The Giants are not inside the cidadel, you should find them and talk to their leader. They're on the map that's one down and one west from Blackwater.
I've never been to the citadel and seen the gates closed, but I've always gone to the giants first, so I think (but don't know, just guessing) that that's the issue here.
Edit: Right, so you can't go south from Blackwater, so east, south, west, west, the map is "Rotwood", same as where goblin teleporters are.. though I think I'm rather confused as to what you're asking. Sorry...
Edit: Mostly confused by what wall you're talking about. Please clarify.
Edit: Oh, thooooose doors. Hmm...

The gate near Loneloft opens with a key. As usually the key is hold by the person that closed the gate. Another way that I went is through the poltergeist's lair...

Okay, sorry about confusion. First, here's a linky:

I usually get the gate key (from Darkloft), but I generally don't use it.. if you followed through on the quest from the priest in Arindell, you should have gotten an note with portal instructions. If you mapped around between Arindell and Bordertown, there was a strange house with a basement...
Let us know how it goes.

Nepharis, the door I'm talking about is the one just south from Loneloft. Its a closed door that it's not even clickable. It's the one on Crakamir Rift, called "Southern Gate" on the big map, I think. I tried surrounding that Rift, but I see no passage on any of the maps. Just sea or mountains avoiding it.
This is the place:

Oh. I remember that place... I let it be because I though it was not important at all or it was related with alchemists... I'll check it. The bad thing is that it required some ingredients... hope I can buy them.
Hope to keep you updated with anything soon.
Thanks!

OK, done. But it was a bit of luck too.
After reading the post you linked, I decided to try the Tangletree Ossuary. But there was no exit there. I smashed down two doors, one with a puzzle, and another one with a trapped chest. I was lucky to find the one of the ingredients I needed to activate the portal in the strange basement. The other one I found in a shopkeeper.
As I did not found exit on the Ossuary, I decided to try activating the portal, so I dropped there all stuff I had.. ectoplasm, mercury, etc... And it activated.
So now I'm on Crakamir, but the gate is still closed, so the "fast travel" isn't so fast, but I'm happy anyway, as I can continue playing.

actually I think you may still be able to fast travel if you get to the SW side of that locked gate - not sure the program checks whether it is open. You can't fast travel from any other areas in Crakamir anyway.
Sadly you only get one chance to steal the key to that gate. You can get there through the Ossuary, but it is a LONG way through (and a big fight).

Actually you can fast travel in one place in Crakamir without the portal or being near the gate. Go to the top of the lighthouse (part of the outpost). You can believe it or not fast travel from the top.
Going through the Ossuary is worth the trouble. IMHO
