Quick question: I have a widescreen monitor so I'm playing in Windowed Mode... am I stuck at 800x600 resolution? It's pretty small... the game looks great, but I'm definitely going to need a bigger viewing screen to play it.

Yes, I think you are stuck. Play in full screen and your monitor will probably do a reasonable job on expanding it.

I read larger resolutions will be supported in book2.
