The Drunken Lizard Pub

I am playing the demo, and my character has found a lantern. I would like to use it in a dungeon, but can't figure out how to light it. I assumed that right clicking would work, but it doesn't. How do I light it?

Drag it over to your "shield" spot on the equip window.

When it runs out, use oil and a cotton wick to refill it.
