Cornered by two salamanders in a dungeon

I keep getting killed and coming back to the same situation. I have no health potions and just hanging there will not regen my HP. Any suggestion?

Well, in a pinch you could just fight/save. Fight the salamander and if you hit and it doesn't hit you back, save. If you get hit and don't hit back, reload. Repeat the process until you can escape. This will be really tedious, but if you have no other alternative it is better than restarting.

I can't even do that - my HP is may low - the minute I move I get killed and I don't have time to save. I would hate to have to create a new alt and start all over again...

Turn off your torch to reduce the salamander's chance of hitting you and run for the stairs. Use Tab key to display their positions.
