The Drunken Lizard Pub

I have cleared most of the beginning boards and am where when I exit looking for the Blacksmiths ore I run into mercenaries which are unbeatable...also the raptor dino's. Is there a way up the skill point levels to make this a little more fun to play or do I have to sleep outside a village and wait to be attacked by goblins in order to build hit points? Any help is appreciated! I have the best armor and a divine ore sword and have used magic to better my weapon and armor and I still get killed quickly. Please some help!!!!!

It sounds like you are a Fighter-type character and don't have access to magick...try some potions:

Use darkness to your advantage. A Potion of Cat's Eyes will allow you to partially see in the darkness, but your foes will be mostly blind.

A Potion of Haste will let you strike more often then your opponents.

Potions of Leatherskin or Stoneskin will temporarily boost your Armor Rating.

A combination of these potions will make you extremely lethal.
