i do not have the game... yet. i played the demo like crazy for a while, its freezing up now but thats OK cause im gettting the game soon.

im still in the first town (well, duh! thats as far as the demo goes!) and i had this great idea to sleep on the bridge near adrielle till i was startled awake. and i was, by bandits (thugs to you). i was a weakling lvl 4 with a crappy weapon and a tiny max damage. so- voila! my next brilliant idea! id have the town guard help me kill those who i couldt (and since i was a ranger, i had a bow. so id get the last hit, and the xp ). what might be the most important thing is, they dropped loot. sometimes it was crappy, sometimes it was things i could sell for once 300 gold apiece. and there were 5 of them.

anyhoo, i did this for a while (hey i was bored and had alot of time on my hands!!!) and when it started freezing up this is what i was:

i was lvl ten. skilled in mercantile, divination (from these one sandals), swords, cleaving weapons, thrown weapons, pick locks, catography, and a few others. my bow's base damage is 4, and my axe is amazing: base damage 5, plus three. (did i mention? i chose this one type of class, so i can bless myself at lvl 1. that helps) and when im blessed, have my evil amulet on, my max damage is 27. on a critical hit, that is 54. oh, and i have an easter egg. and 97 hp. and about 56 mana. and my armor rating is 25 (and thats LIGHT armor). and, mabye most importantly, 4000 gold.

so i think im pretty ready for the rest of the game.... plus once i get the game, i think i can recreate that


anyways, bragging over. sorry bout that i brag alot. cant help it. i have a few questions:

do you need- and abosultely NEED magic. is there something in the game that you CANNOT DO without it. cause, im strong agaisnt it. potions can do alot of the magic for you, and with magic you depend on hp and mana. as a fighter, you only depend on hp. so- do you absolutely need magic?

could someone spoil it for me? yes, i want it spoiled. not all of it. mabye like... the first 2-3 quests after retrieving the amulet from the casket?

also, any tips are welcome!

*confused* i got a 'strange amulet' from a casket labled 'alder kedlam' and i thought it said i took that to lilith, then she sent me on my way. sorry, that question was badly phrased: i mean, what happens after lilith?

ok, i wont do the bandits again. mabye just a little so i get a good weapon.

They dropped loot?!?!?

I've been playing the demo also. I'm level 5 and have never had any loot. I went to the southeast cost and cleared out all the thugs too. No one dropped any loot. Is that really part of the game?

You can't get to Lilith in the demo, unk - you must be confusing her with someone else.

no, i know that. i cant get to lilith. but, i did the dungeon place at eversleep cemetry. near the end, there is a casket that's name is 'alder kedlam' and i found a 'strange amulet' its a silver triangle with a hole in it. i thought the sealed note said i took it to lilith. (even though i cant get to her)

So what's your question, then, unk? Once you get the game and go and see Lilith, you'll find out more of what the amulet's for.
