Does it have a single-player aspect to it...I mean, can it be played offline, single player?

I actually made some of the areas in the game...if you ever ended up in a pyramid dungeon....thats mine....and the city on the side of the cliff I made as well.

no, not anymore....it was a bit of work...and it is tut's tomb....the city I did was in the oasis on the side of a cliff.

Kind of had a falling out with the creator, he didn't really keep in touch as much

I've been trying to play single, offline. Not making much progress. I'm not used to this type game and having to make movement with my left hand keeps throwing me off, I'm too used to using the keypad numbers with right hand. :) Still haven't managed to get to 2nd level yet and having trouble figuring out how to do spells (druid) when in battle. My character just seems to hit with her mace.

Does the Call Animal (I think that's what it's called) call a pet to a druid for just a battle or for 'ever'? I may give up and just use a fighter type till I get the hang of this and then make my own little group instead of going one on one, as it were.

Can be a little hard here and there untill you know how to control everything - magic is placed in macro bar along with melee + pet control I could do a movie if like and upload to youtube - I hit a real hard streetch at moment trying to find crystals to make weapons etc - mobs that do drop won't drop - driving me nuts

Saxon1974: Sorry, been out of town most of the weekend. I'll give it a run through tonight for a couple hours.

Iane: yes, do a movie. I like visual tutorials.

No prob, If I had a bit more time i would try it myself. I think I like the same kind of RPG's that you do, so I thought if you liked it I might give it a go.

I think I'm about to give up. I did switch to a warrior and have gotten her up to 10th level but most of the quests are still too hard. Can't go into the sewers, swimming for Stinker is terrible..can you drown?..getting back a shield or going for cat tails is out too.

And so far I haven't figured out some way to put the game on pause. (single player offline). Is there a way? I have to stop the game and go to the MoM forums to find answers to questions I can't locate fast in the encyclopedia. For example, I'm now running into named' skeletons and wood mites. No mention of that. Does that mean I shouldn't be attackign them? And one really annoying thing is, I can't find anyone (yet) who will buy my surplus bear skins. After getting the required number for a quest, that's all that fellow will take. Is there anyone who will buy these? (Trinst map that is)
