Cartography nit

Just a quick request about a nit that I've forgotten at other times. When I've bought detail maps from AAA in the past, the map did not lose detail when I visit the location due to my inability to make a similar quality map myself. I also made a point of not altering or erasing portions of the map since I can be pretty sure the cartographer probably had some idea of what he was doing. (Barring any conspiracies of cartographers of course.)

Likewise I would like my character to refrain from erasing details from maps that were previously made through the influence of the divine or the super natural. I'll buy that he might question the distance between the road and the trees, but would he really erase the road he's walking on?

Edd

(As I said, this is just a small nit in a really great game.)

Eddward: this is an unfortunate design flaw when you boost your Cartography skill (using a ring or spell) and then revert back to a lower skill level- your map overwrites itself with less detail.

It is on our ToDo list to fix this for the next game.

Great. I sent a few suggestions and comment after finishing book 1 to the email address (I had trouble with the board that and didn't want to lose the info) and I forgot to mention this little nit. Thanks!
