I do not know how to solve this puzzle in Shadowmirk, east of Bordertown... Please spoil it for me...

I'll go so far as to tell you that you have to put the appropriate potions in the appropriate boxes, and you can find the potions on that first level in Shadowmirk. They should be pretty self-explanatory after that.

I placed the ogre strength in the chest under "give me strength" and the mana III potion under "ease my pain" stood on the pentagram....nada....took out the torch....nada.....switched the two potions....nada....I'll admit, I'm as dumb as a rock.... What am I doing wrong...

You use a mana potion for "Ease My Pain"? Try a healing potion instead.

I put a healing potion III in the ease my pain box and the scroll of ogre strength in the other one, stood on the pentangle and nothing happended. HELP!

Huh. That's interesting that the spell/scroll doesn't work. I've never tried that, but it seems like it should work too. (Does that count as a bug? Or an oversight on BW's part?...)

Anyway, try a potion of Ogre Strength, dweezil. Then it should work.

Did you close the lids and then stand on the marker?



Oh, and don't forget to go back and collect them after you get to the top. They will come in handy later.
