I suppose most of the valuable feedback has already been given, but I just finished the game and felt like writing a couple of lines.
Game Difficulty
Insanely easy. I picked the rogue class, therish, druidic. Rerolled the dice until I got 14 in both dexterity and concentration. I saved most of my skillpoints until I got to Bordertown and could purchase the first five levels in the bow skill and by doing so giving me a nice boost. At level 16, I had ended up with 64 dexterity unbuffed, 32 bow skill, 16 in elemental skill, 17 in divine skill. Even without buffs, I'd either kill practically anything in one or two shots. The only exception was the elite guard mob at the Spire, which took about 10-16 arrows each. It's worth mentioning I had to buff up real good, haste potions and all to pull off that feat, but still - until that part of the game it's a walk in the park really.
I'm by no means a pro or hardcore gamer, so it's definitely the game being too nice. :/
The Destroyer Ending
I kill the goblin leader, I put the Crux back in its place, I kill the Chancellor - and the world falls apart? What's up with that? I thought I'd be able to claim the throne or something, having slain every possible threat in existence. :/
The World
The Tangletree forest and the oasis down in Crakamir felt like a huge timesink exploring. Why? There was like nothing there. Just trees or sand. Especially in Crakamir, the two middle areas I think - it's just sand. Wastelands are cool, I'm alright with them, but some variation would be just peachy. Have a look at The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, it's a shining example of having a believable game world. Granted there's something amiss in that game, each to his own, but I really dig that there's farms and all of that stuf.
Bugs
Rotwood: 95,22 - a misplaced tile or something.
Crakamir in general: More or less the whole shoreline is razor sharp, shouldn't it be a bit rounded?
I found two or three typos as well, one at the goblin leader, one at Bordertown, can't find the note I made about them.
All in all, a nice game, but lacks difficulty and replayability really. I'm looking forward to the sequel.
