It's late in the game. I killed Lilith and have been using her house to store my stuff.

I just stepped out the door to take the flask of water to the tree, and at the crossroads I walked into a swarm of at least 32 hive drones.

I know there were at least that many because I used mass boil, and the message window only displayed results for 32 attacks.

Thanks goodness it was at night, and I was hidden in shadows, but because I was walking through the woods in the dark with no lights or magic, the result when I heard the buzzing noise and hit Tab was I almost fell out of my chair.

Sheesh, I'm glad that didn't happen at a low level...

Third run through the game, and I've never seen anything like that.

Edit: And it repeats! Something be broken, I'm thinking, so never mind.

Indeed. They seem to pile up at around eight every night I spend elsewhere, so I'm going to kill clean out the citadel and then camp for a while and see how big the swarm gets.

It sure makes Supernova and Mass Boil spectacular.

I saw that in one of my games.

I played one game where I plinked the drones no problem.

Then in my next game, i walked out of lilith's house and it was like "Bees The Revenge!".

I thought it had something do with the sequence of how I did the events since in the first game I cleared all the maps before doing the Queen Bee quest and in the second game all the drones were still alive when I offed the queen.

We should have a 'picture' contest...

My two favorites so far are "The Killing Grounds"... I turned the crossroads outside of blackwater RED from Camp-Leveling.
My second favorite was "Riches"... I was bored so I didn't pick up any loot from Camp Leveling ... something like 30 bags of loot outside of Bordertown.

Revenge of the Bees would be funny too.

Sorry, was unclear. The "Upload Attachmetn" function on these here messages seemed to upload the screenshot. My account shows no uploaded attachments. Alas.

I don't have an available presence online for putting it somewhere else to point to (if that syntax makes any sense).

Don't know actually. I never used the upload attachment thing on these forums (or any forum for that matter), but I typically use imageshack. Hope that's helpful in some way.
