Good catch, Rush!

It's almost as if the gaming companies are starting to listen... It appears as though this game might not have the best graphics, however I, for one, would gladly trade in the beautiful visuals for a real story line, plot, character development, and engaging game play rather than another in a long series of beautifully rendered but mindless pieces of software that just test to see if you can click the left mouse button faster than the next guy.

Maybe because I'm an old-fart and remember the days of 8-bit color and PC speaker...where only the elite had a sound blaster card.

An old fart, Hawkwind?

Why, just the other day I gazed into the mirror and saw an Immortal eighteen year old staring back at me. Suddenly, somewhere off to my left, something shiny caught my attention. When I managed to look back into the mirror, an upper middle aged man was staring back at me, and truth be told, I was hard put to meet his gaze.

I think, then, that I too must qualify as aged flatulence (grins), or an old fart.

Hmmm...I always seem to jump into the quicksand before discovering just how deep it is. It turns out that had I scrolled down the topics list, I would have found that Saxon posted this game on Monday Dec 01, 2008 5:44 pm, and so credit for the find goes to him.

My apologies, Saxon.

Thanks, Saxon. I often find developing games, such as this one, and bookmark them only to discover several months down the road that the creators decided to scrap them. That can be very frustrating.

However, due to the somewhat involved content already provided upon the site, this one seems very promising. Up front I am curious about one aspect of the game (I haven't yet had the time to review everything upon the site):

Will it be mouse driven, or, will players need to learn a few dozen keystrokes in order to play. Learning a new set of keystrokes for every new game played can be very taxing at best.

Yea I agree, quite a few projects get cancelled, not that surprising though since making an RPG is so a large undertaking. This game has an Ultima VI\VII vibe to it, so Im hoping it turns out good.

More often then not, when I come across an RPG in development, either the programming is lacking, or the graphics are (just an observation). I can only hope for a happy medium, I guess, and I think that this game just might deliver.

Anyway, you are right on the mark as far as this game's feel being reminiscent of the Ultima series, Saxon. I still "am" hoping that it will be mainly mouse driven, tho...(grins).
