Anyone here ever like to play
this game when a wee lad? btw, this version is from the Sinclair ZX Spectrum.
Took me forever to find it because I couldn't remember the name (although I did remember it had a very plain name). Like naming your dog, "dog" or something.

Humm, I don't remember that one for the C64. We had quite a few back then, though computer was used mostly for my son's school work and my word processing back then.

Druid was released (1986) by FireBird Software for the C64, Atari 8-bit, Amstrad, and ZX Spectrum. The game came on cassette and disk for people with disk drives.

I remember Druid. Robin of Sherlock (at least, that's what I think it was called) was another game in the same kind of vein I remember playing too on my ol' ZX.

i had Druid on tape, a guy i knew in town imported pirate-tapes and disks from some group in the UK so he always had the newest games
the ingame music was totally kick-ass (almost as great as Last Ninja), and even better in Druid II.
those where the days.

C64 just got addded as a platform on the Virtual Console on the Wii in North America(having already been available in Europe) yesterday...perhaps we'll get to see some of these classic RPG's brought over with the advantages of the VC.

That would be nice. I'd like to play the C64 version of this game again. Perhaps I could with an emulator.
