Can I sell the books I gather?

I got about 10 books I gathered and I have almost no place to store additional items. Can i sell them? Or will I need them later on? All have been read, but my question is: will my +1 ability disappear if I sell the book that gave me that certain ability?

Maybe your question has already been answered, but from my own experience, if you sell the book you don't lose whatever benefit it gave you. Especially if it's just a book of narrative, in which case it gives you no benefit other than more immersion into the story.

Yeah you can safely sell your books, I'd be sure to read them first as some give to skills as you know. But once you gain a skill point from a book, you will always have that skill point no matter what, such as cartography. Any other books are just for story purpose like telling the history of Thaermore. Although there is ONE side quest (You probably already have the quest) that I can name that does need a book but I have yet to find the book, and that is the book "Secrets of Transference Circuits", so keep an eye out for that one. Hope that helps.

The book is in Eversleep. You need to check corners for false walls in a certain dark, dank room.
