The Drunken Lizard Pub

Hi all, I've finished book 1 ,4 times now but don't understand the "destroyer' ending. Is the chancelor the guy at the end game or the drunk who won't leave his office? I'm ready to try this ending now that I'm almost through again. Even filling in all maps I'm done in 13.5 hrs, and finished most quests. Best rpg I've played in years. Most replayable game ever ,can't wait till book 2 is out !! Thanks

Yep, You kill Chancellor (Malcom?), the guy at the end of the game near to where you place the crux. However it's not like the guards will let you get away with something like that so you'll have to kill them too, can't have any witnesses!
