Thanks to a little Bing cashback, I picked up a couple 'o games from Good Old Games

It's been awhile since I treated myself to some HoMM... Any self-respecting turn-based strategy fan should have this one in their collection.

I almost pulled the trigger on the newly added Realms of Arkania 1+2, but I had to get my nostalgia fix before jumping onto an RPG I've never played.

Love old games but while I can see GOG might have a place in this world I would only use it at the Very last resort as I'd Prefer to hold something I buy.

That's certainly understandable, but considering how many times I've re-purchased games only to lose them again to theft, moving, or just plain if-my-head-weren't-attached-i'd-lose-it, it's nice to have them available for DRM Free downloading whenever I feel like it.

Yeah Theft is a worry and I'd really hate to have to move at the moment (as I rent) lucky my landlord lives next door and get on really well with him
