Yesterday I published a new RPG from a new indie developer, Dingo Games: "The Three Musketeers: The Game". You can find it on my web site here:

This game is a pretty faithful adaptation of the original novel by Alexandre Dumas, which is one of my favorite classics. The graphics are a bit crude, but the game itself is very well done. I thought the developer did a very good job with the historical setting and gameplay. It's a nice change of pace from the usual dungeon crawlers and fantasy RPGs. If you're interested, check it out.

I helped with beta testing, and I really enjoyed this game. I've been waiting for months for this to be released, and it finally has been! It's available for Mac and Windows.

Thanks, I've downloaded the Mac version just to see if I can play it and enjoy too. If so, dig out the couch for some cash..

edit: okay, tried the demo. Interesting but since I haven't read the book in a long time I got myself into trouble. :) then when I tried to quit I discovered there's a time limit on the demo..an hour. Grrrrr, I hate games that do that! No sale from me. sorry, the pictures are nice though.

Thanks for the feedback, Dragonlady. I will pass it along to the developer.

Yeah, with adventure or RPG type games, I have found that nearly everyone prefers the "area limited" approach to the demo. Time limits are great for games like Bejeweled and Peggle.

I will download the T3M demo later tonight and give it a whirl. Looks very interesting. I admit though I've never read the book.

Heh, the thing with me is, I'm not sure I ever read the book either. I may be thinking of the 'Classic Comic book' series that did books in comic form long ago or a movie or two. Or maybe I did read it in Junior High but that was a loooong time ago! (late '50s'!)

Just a quick update - the developer lowered the price from $24.95 to $19.95.
