I bought the digital copy of Eschalon not too long ago but was wondering if it would be possible to buy a boxed copy of Eschalon 1 now or if one will be available in the future?

We've sold out of the boxed edition a while back. We have no plans to press anymore CDs at this time.

We are planning a possible re-release of Book 1 ("Special Edition"?) in the future, which will feature the game patched up with a bit more content, compiled for the newest operating systems. We may offer a very limited number of boxed copies at that time.

We need to get Book II wrapped up and out the door before we can give any concrete information on future plans.

Right on, I look forward to a special edition, I would most assuredly buy it. I was saddened when I missed out on the boxed copies of Eschalon Book 1 when it first came out. I will definitely not make the same mistake with Book 2, however. Is there a way to pre-order the boxed edition or is it a first come, first served kind thing?
