Is there a key to make your character run?

Cheers and thanks!

Sorry, but no. You can use Quick Travel if you want.

I agree. BUT, you have to remember to touch signs and pillars to 'attune' yourself so you can. :)

The good news is that in Book II you walk slightly faster.

Still, I'd like to be able to run when I want to... .

Dragonlady: Since I'm a high-ranking Officer, I don't have to attune myself to anything, thank you very much. I'm attuned "naturally".

Wanna hear something funny (and by "funny" I really mean "pathetic"!)? - It took me several playthroughs before I realized that you need to stand in a grid adjacent to the town signs before you can activate the Quick Travel... er, "attunement".

I remember in one of my early playthrough I got really frustrated because I kept clicking on the town pylon for one of the sides of Grimmhold and it kept not getting added to the Quick Travel menu. It wasn't until later that I realized it was because I wasn't standing right next to the pylon!

Anyway, this is something I plan to keep an eye on in regards to the Book II Player's manual, because I don't think the Book I Player's Manual ever explicitly said that you had be standing immediately adjacent to a town sign/pylon to activate it in the Quick Travel menu.

I didn't even figure out that QT spots existed until my second playthrough... I thought it was an exclusive mage spell or something.

Ah, you people are pathetic. A strange pylon says "come and read me". You go and read it, and get attuned. :)

Anyhow: Dragonlady: Only 102 more posts and you don't outrank me any longer! But... you're correct about the dragon issue. I won't argue with a dragon.

Do you dare to argue with the King of the Dead?

Are you sure? Millions of people have died during the years. Do you think you can argue with a man who has so many people at his service? I can start a war with you anytime...

You could start a war, but all those dead minions won't even be able to lift their arms, much less walk, much less moan "brains...".

In the end, since I myself don't have any followers, it'd end up as a one-on-one battle . . . and who knows how that would end?

Sure, but better than that: helicopters.

That's where I make my stand.
