Well the deal is only good for this week... so he can buy it this week, and play it next...
Wouldn't be the first time I've "padded" my collection in such a manner. Sometimes a deal is too good to pass up.

Np at all BW - pays to have RSS feeds on Blogs - I split my purchase between the 7 and at the moment it's 156k, not bad for 9hrs and 22k each if left at even split

An interesting offer for interesting indie games, and first of all, someone remembers about Mac and Linux users.
I'll buy it soon.

A update to the bundle - EFF Sweetens the deal.

Also Frictional Games have slashed the Pre-order price of there new game by 50% to just $10

until the 11th of May,Since they were very happy with the way the bundle has gone so far - No surprise there as less than 2 days the Bundle has netted everyone over 324k

I bought mine too. I actually dont have time to play video games, I bought the pack and I will possibly not even find time to install them. They turned me into a "customer" and extracted money from me, thats why I find this project awesome.
There are still two days left and they accumulated 630k. Assuming the amount was equally shared, each developer earned 90k so far. That sounds pretty and I hope they enjoy their new fund.

A bet was made between certain Parties of the Indie Bundle - if you pause the Video at 1:17 you will notice written on the Bundle page the details of this Bet.
The bet was - if 1,000,000 Dollars was raised then the makers of Gish,Penumbra Overture and Lugaru will release the source Code for those games - Well spread the word and get people to donate to the Bundle cos it's 847k and 14hrs to go.

As a result the source code for Gish, Lugaru, Aquaria and Penumbra Overture are also to be released under Open Source licenses.

I'm in. It's for a good cause, even though I'm not horribly intrigued by any of the games.
