secrets of thieves arcadia(minor spoilers)

So I've been through most of thieve's arcadia, spared the assasin/traner, and got the 3 chests, but there are a couple of doubts in the back of my mind.

1. near the entrance there is an gated room which you cant acces, and which seems to have a wall porton different from the others, does the place serve any purpose?/is it accesible?

2. the abandoned place with the crumbling walls, can you dinamite wall portions to get somewhere, or is the place just atmospheric?

3. I'm not much of a replay kind of guy, so I was curious what happened when you killed the trainer-assasin(i was to weak when I first met him) in terms of XP for quest completition/kills, items and game story, and if you could get the same results by killing him later in the game.

Anyone?

cheers!

3. This is a tough fight for some types of characters. But you get some nice experience and the chance to loot the room without Zeblin being around to complain. The bow in the chest gets better the higher level you are so if you plan to kill then wait.

the crumbling walls are all over the Eschalon. you can see behind them? you can blow em up and get what they hide (for example, spider's cave has such a place with the big chest filled with GOLD. can you believe it ?). if there's just darkness then it's nothing.

it's a pity. when i realised the opportunity to blow up the walls i wanted to destroy each and every crumbling wall in case they had something valuable. but it doesn't work this way. i wish they walls would reveal the room behind them AFTER they've been blown up to pieces. not the other way around.

anyway, remember, you're like a god in this game. almighty and can see through walls. very handy skill i'd say.

p.s. dark disciples freeware rpg did it the right way. you could bash through walls and THEN get in the room behind them. or some walls looked the same and yet there was a hidden door or something. i liked it better.
