What level of alchemy do I need to imbue weapons with plus 3 attributes?

Has anyone figured out if you can imbue to +4 yet?

Imbuing to +3 was the 'limit' in Book I, and I'm just curious if that 'cap' was lifted in Book II...

(And I'm guessing no one has worked out the full Alchemy Skill Table for Book II yet, yes?...)

I checked just a couple of enchants with really high alchemy (something like 80 if I recall correctly), they were at +3. Didn't check them all though.

All I know are these magic numbers: 7, 12, 20 and 22.
The first three are levels needed for potion making each one giving a higher strength and the last number is for imbuing at +3. I don't know what you need for imbuing at +1 and +2.

I can answer the first one - you need Level 7 in Alchemy to imbue to +1.

I'm going to go out on a limb here, and say the you need Alchemy Level 7 for +1 imbuing, Level 14 or 15 for +2, and then the Level 22 for +3.

What's special about Alchemy Level 20? - Is that what you need to mix Invisibility III potions?...

Yeah, different potions use different levels -- you need 14 or 15 to create level 3 potions of restore health/mana, and IIRC imbuing with elemental damage uses slightly different levels than imbuing to hit, damage, or armor.

Since you can get 14 Alchemy from training, books and rings and that will give you +2 imbuing, investing 8 points just to imbue at +3 does not seem worthwhile. This in turn does make a bunch of the named weapons more meaningful.

+3 is the max enchant.
