Final beta in the hands of internal testers? Cool! And it popped right up in my RSS feed. We are rapidly approaching release of an actual RPG! I can hardly wait -- it's been years.

(just reloaded Wizardry 8, which I see is going for $40 or $50 on eBay, as are many old school RPGs; action RPGs are a dime a dozen -- does this tell developers nothing?)

And I agree with you, I have been collecting some of the classic RPG's and they are very often more expensive then current ones. Granted more recent means there are more copies, but I don't think people tend to sell great games that they love where as the new action rpg's are fun for a couple days then good for an ebay sale.

Well, as mentioned in the last few messages in the Q&A thread, beta testing may take longer than we anticipate. But we have reached that point, so that in itself is a milestone...
