town ledger?

does anyone know what to do with the eastwillow town ledger? i killed that chick (the one you talk to initially about the ceremonial sword) to get it and now I'm not sure it does anything?

Well the town ledger and the painting in her home/office explains why there isn't more to loot. Just put it back so you don't waste encumbrance.

Actually, the town ledger has another use... if you haven't already retrieved the sword...

Killing him does only add experience without any quest problems, right?

Correct. My Rogue refused to give it up and Gammen foolishly attacked her. Poor sod. He didn't survive the encounter.
