What I would prefer to see is the damage "roll" before modifiers like critical hits, adjustments for different combat modes, darkness, weather, etc. What say ye?

It'd be nice to have an option to turn this on and off, for sure. I like verbose details. :) Unfortunately, the "chat window" (is that the right term?) doesn't remember more than about 30 lines or so.... soo, *too* many details means that you won't be able to say, "Wait, what just happened back there?"

This is especially a big deal when you have a weapon that does extra fire, cold, and poison damage, like I did. :P

My wish would be for the floating numbers when you do damage to be much larger. When attacking chests, barrels, nests, etc. I can't really tell how much damage I'm doing on my 1680X1020 monitor that is trying to run at 1024X768 :D

In Book I, the damage roll was given and then any multipliers and bonuses were added. In Book II, the damage "roll" is presented as all the damage together, including critical hits, but I believe before bonuses like Bless and weapon perks and so on.

I'd just like to see the damage text show the "dice roll," which is the main meat of your attack, and then all the other damage can be lumped together if need be.
