Porting Characters?

Is it possible to port a character from Book 1 to Book 2?
No. There are a number of changes to the skills, and an expansion of the class/axiom purpose at character creation. Also, in Book II your character can be female.
In the storyline, you've been relaxing in a little house fishing your days away and have pretty much forgotten most of your big fancy skills (you did drink an untested memory-wiping potion, so side-effects are to be expected).
